One of the most popular areas
of Cure4Lupus.org is the pictures of the different
rashes that can be caused by Lupus. We have pictures of
Malar rashes,
Discoid Leisons,
Subacute Cutaneous Lupus Rashes,
Allergic Reactions
and more. Visitors like being able to compare their own rashes to
pictures of know Lupus rashes to help figure out if Lupus could be
causing their issues. We rely on the contributions of site
visitors for these pictures. If you have pictures of a known Lupus
rash it could be helpful to others experiencing the same thing. We
would be happy to post your pictures if you mail them to us at
webmaster@cure4lupus.org. Remember
subitting pictures is acceptance of our

We have been writing media outlets
for nearly 2 years now and recently there has been some coverage. On December 9, 2009, The Doctors TV Show
aired a
segment about Lupus.
Also, on December 15th we got an email from the Dr. Oz show asking
permission to use pictures from our website in an upcoming segment.
This year we are going back for round three on the media outlets we have
covered. We will just let them know that Lupus is a serious topic
that needs covered and it is not going away. We will be
highlighting the recent advances of drugs that are in trials as well as
the Ad Council Campaign in this round of emails.

Julian Lennon's childhood friend
Lucy Vodden was the inspiration for the Beatles' classic "Lucy in the
Sky with Diamonds". After her death from Lupus in September 2009
Julian teamed up with singer James Scott Cook whose 92 year old
grandmother also suffers from Lupus, to release a song to benefit the
Lupus Foundation of America
and the UK's St.
Thomas Lupus Trust. 100% of the proceedes go to Lupus.

Cure4Lupus.org has been reaching out to Lupus fighters and their
supporters on the Internet for years. One way we do this is with
Social Networking sites. We belong
