We encourage all of you to see the documentary “Sicko” by director Michael Moore. This movie sheds light on insurance companies, pharmaceutical companies and the health care industry in this and several other countries.
No matter how you feel about Universal Health care, this movie will serve to further educate you on the issue. We believe that good health care is VERY important to treating and curing Lupus! Preventative treatment and early intervention goes a long way! |

There are many Lupus walks planned for this summer and fall in cities all over the country. We encourage all of you to get involved in the fundraising walks and event in your area.
We realize a lot of Lupus patients can’t do the actual walks themselves but their friends and families are usually anxious to find something they can do to help!
Most of these walks are organized by the Alliance for Lupus Research or Local Lupus Foundation of America Chapters. Visit our Events Calendar to see if a walk in planned in a city near you. Let us know if we missed one! |
