Waylaid By Lupus

I may have gotten waylaid by Lupus

but I have a story seldom shared,

A quitter I aint .. don't know word caint

but com`n, I need a release from

uncertain misery's snare.

Each day I wonder if I`ll have

enough energy for another dance,

Or a prince will arrive to swoop me

off my feet with his mystery glance.

In the meantime I`ll do my tending

down at the barn,

Where my furry babies enjoy

my days laughter and story charm.

Bet `you never knew a happy blue gecko

with lupus `who resided in Arkansas,

Under the *aaaah* bone warming heat waves

while giggling .... Hi Ya`All

Ok! Ok! .... so life aint no cup of herbal tea

well neither is `pain anyone's friend,

Still ` Lupus funding might bring a cure

to address this atrocities end!
