I Believe

I believe with persistence, hope and prayer

autoimmune diseases can be cured,

I believe the many sorrows that lupus reaps

can be eradicated `with research funds

by helps seek.

I believe those powers in the white house

if had a loved one similarly attacked,

Would go to any length

to fight back.

I believe senate bills addressed

for relief of families falling tears,

Would give a semblance vein of peace

and boost hopes cheer.

Yes, I believe there is a Lord

who reins on high,

Watching sharing actions of his earth children

as well as those who do not care....
